Janeeee(Writer) pov -
Saanvi woke up after an hour and a half. She felt very fresh and energetic so she decided that she would go to her company and introduce herself as the boss. Or maybe, if needed disguise as a employee.
She wore something simple - a pastel blue colored hanging shirt that was ruffly in the end with blue strips, two inches apart the corner. And a white a pair of trousers. She looked simple but presentable. And not too professional.
She hanged a bag on her shoulders that she was stuffed with these -
A laptop - that was in the laptop pocket, she did not crush it with others. A bottle. A spare dress that was more formal than these. Some chocolates. A pepper spray. And her knife for safety - that she always carried.
Forward to her reaching there.
Saanvi stood their in awe as she saw the beauty of he building in front of her. She almost forgot that she was the owner of the company. When she came back to her senses, she thought to interact with her employees in this form where no one recognised her.
Walking in the small cafeteria, she ordered one Americano. Her favourite. Or in simple words - Coffee.
She just sat on the table and someone came up to her, saying, "Hey, miss. Is this the only seat you got? Get up. This is out seat." Beside her, there were minions, some of he people who I hate the most. When I did not do as I said, she threatened," Oh, girl. What are you looking at. And who even allowed a fool like you to be in our company. This a high class company, some random human like you cannot enter this building like this."
Her words angered me and I spoke, "Oh, really? I am so sorry.. I did not know that it is your seat. But I do not see your name in here. I only see company's logo. Which means, this seat is owned by the company. So how do you propose that this seat is yours?"
Her nostrils flared, clearly indicating no one has ever talked to her like that. "Watch your mouth, little girl. I can fire you right at this moment. Not I can but I will. I am the manager of this company. Do not you know that? This company runs on my orders."
I corrected her. " Not the company, just this branch. And that too because someone appointed you here."
The girl was now very angry. She threw her drink on me and said,"This. This is what you get when you complain about me. And if it gets further, it will get even more worse. Beware. Oh, but wait, why should you? I have already fired you, didn't I? Ok. So bye bye. See you never." She turned around to leave but Saanvi immediately grabbed her shoulders tightly to stop her there.
Saanvi hated to be insulted, and when she was not at fault? She would kill the one who insulted her. But right now, she needed to keep her calm.
"Apologise. Right at this moment." She said in a commanding tone.
Although scared, the bully girl didi not give to her that easily. She "No. I won't. Not to you, dear little girl." Little girl, the nickname Saanvi hated since she was a teen.
Saanvi flared, "I want to talk to the M.D right now." Footsteps followers soon after and the M.D seemed shocked of what was happening right now.
He questioned both of them and till then, the drink on Saanvi's face was a little dried up. Allowing one to see who she was.
They both explained what happened to her and he exhaled with frustration, and the manager girl smirked thinking that the petty girl was about to be punished.
"Apologise right now." He said. After a few seconds, the manager sarcastically said.
"Didn't you hear what the M.D said? Oh, it seems your ears are ruined too. Don't worry, I will tell you what he said to you. He told you to apologise right now to me."
"I did not say it to her, Ms. Manager. I said it to you. Apologise to her. At this very moment. Or consequences won't be very nice." The manager's sarcastic face turned into a shocked one as she looked at his direction and saw him bowing down his head, saying, "I am really ashamed of having appointed such a arrogant manager for you branch of company, mam. Please forgive me." Saanvi said nothing, as all eyes were on her.
The manager had nothing to do rather than apologise. Though confused, the manager bowed her head to Saanvi and asked for fake forgiveness. "I am really sorry, mam. I did not mean for myself to be rude. I just had a little more work than usual and was tensed about it. Please do not take it to heart, mam."
The words came out sounding anything but even near sincere. Everyone present knew that the branch of the company had no stressful work going on at the moment.
Which is also the reason why Saanvi has decided to visit her company at this time.
