16 ~ The outskirts.

The next day.

Saanvi, who loved to sleep late, was shook awake by Ishu, who had the habit of waking up early.

"What happened Ishu, why are you waking me up? What is the time?" Saanvi said groggily and turned the other way to look at the clock.

It said it was 7 : 30. Which was still early.

"I woke you up because you have to go to the outskirts. Come on, get up." Then Ishu began shaking Saanvi again.

"5 minutes more please. I will wake after five minutes. Promise." Both the girls huffed and Ishu sat down beside her while Saanvi fell back to sleep.

Right after 5 minutes, Nisha started waking her up again. And this time, Saanvi refused to budge, so Nisha went to the bathroom and took some water in her head.

Then went towards Saanvi.

And gently tapped the water which was left in her hands, on Saanvi's eyes.

(You thought I would let my sweet Ishu be so cruel?)

She immediately sat up and rubbed her eyes, while Ishu giggled. A frown made its way to her face once she got the water away from her eyes.

"Hey, why did you do that? You are so bad." Then she pouted and sat on the bed adamantly, refusing to go anywhere.

Her face was so adorable. It made Ishu laugh at the silliness of the buisness woman.

If someone would tell her that this Saanvi and the Saanvi who is the owner a company—who is so strict, you can't help but shiver in her presence— are the same, she would not believe them.

Even though knowing they are telling the truth.

"No excuses. Get up. You have to go."

"Nahi toh phir pura din nakchadi banke ghumte raho ge aap.

Nakchadi was the nickname Ishu had given to Saanvi when she would behave like a kid.

There were not many occasions when she said the name, but Saanvi never missed the smile on her face whenever she calls Saanvi that name.

Is it because Ishu enjoyed the irritated look on Saanvi's face when she called that name, or is it because she always calls Saanvi that name when she wants to irritate her or when Saanvi behaves like a kid.

Or any other reason, she didn't want to know. She just knew that if because of those crazy behaviour, Ishu has a smile on her face, she would do it.

Before this, she didn't put this much efforts for anyone, but now, for one smile fron Ishu, she would go crazy.

Guess, that is the bond families share.

Every time Ishu called her 'Nakchadi', Saanvi would get irritated, which would make Ishu laugh harder.

And in return, Saanvi had made a name of her own. 'Bandar ki bacchi'. Or sometimes, she would call her 'Nakchadi ki behen'.

"O Bandar ki bacchi, jyada khe khe khe khe karne ki jarurat nahi hai, samjhi.

In an attempt to grab Ishu, Saanvi just literally fell of the bed as Ishu got up and ran to he other side of the room.

To lure Ishu towards her, saanvi pretended that she was really hurt as she hit the leg of the single bed with her head.

She dramatically cried, but ishu catched her nautanki(drama) and laughed even harder.

When Saanvi realised this trick didn't work, she immediately straightened her back and got up, dusting the dust of her clothes—which was lying peacefully under bed—until Saanvi's fate decided to let her fall on it and let it stick to her clothes.

"Isiliye. Isliye kehte hai hum aapko nautanki. Bahut drame hai. Palang se gir gyi hai phir bhi nautanki nahi band Hui na aapki."

She started laughing even harder.

Nautanki was another name Ishu called Saanvi with.

Haalaaki, Saanvi ne pehle Ishu ko nautanki bulana shuru Kiya tha kyuki pehle woh bahut nakhre dikhati thi, abhi bhi dikhati hai par Ishu ko khush karne ke liye ab Saanvi jyada nautanki karti hai.

"Ha. Ha. Has lo. Iss maasum si Jaan ki toh koi kadr hi nahi karta. Chiddha lo. Jitna mazak bana sakti ho, bana lo. Dekhna, ek din hum na kahi chale jayenge, aur phir ghumte rahenge. Tumko chod ke yahi. Hmph."

"Shut up. You are not leaving me." Ishu quickly reached out to her and wrapped her hand around her bicep.

"I will not allow you to leave me. How can you say that? Are that your manners, huh? And we are sisters, so I will follow you where you will go and you will follow me where I will go."

"Ishu, I have told you so many times, I can't be with you everytime you need me. You need to be self dependent. I am not talking about money.

You have money. After all, you are the COO of the company. But, self defense, standing up for yourself, talking back, not letting others insult you are also skills you need to develop. Maybe, when I come back from the outskirts, something unexpected happens. Maybe I will not be with you then. What will you do then? What if I di-" Ishu puts a hand on Saanvi's mouth before she speaks any further.

"Don't ever say that. You know what, I am coming with you to the outskirts. I am not leaving you alone.

"What? Now? You didn't do any packing. Why?"

"I am just coming. I will pack my bag now." She went to her room and packed her bags, then came down and both of them proceeded to the outskirts.

In the taxi, on the way, Saanvi reassured Ishu that nothing would happen to her, to them.

Because Ishu had a gut feeling something was about to happen. But she didn't know whether it was good or bad. Which worried her.

"Nisha," Her name from Saanvi's mouth meant something serious, so she diverted her attention from her intuition to the talks of the girl in a suit sitting right beside her, and focused on her talks.

"Listen, I cannot be with you always, you know that. There will be problems which will arise when you don't any of that. But it will. You need to be brave. And fight them.

I don't know how to explain you all this, I am not too great when it comes to emotions and stuff. I just can't.

But, whenever you need me, and I am not with you physically, know that I am with you mentally. Keep this, as a sign of it. And whenever, you feel everything is too much for you too handle, just hold this in your hand repeat these words, “My name is Nisha, and I will not be afraid.” Ok?" Saanvi said while handing a necklace to her. (Koi book yaad aaya?)

A half heart was hung on it and another half heart necklace was in Saanvi's necklace.

The name is _ trick was used by Saanvi and she used it till now, whenever she was afraid. And it genuinely worked.

Almost 4 hours went by and both the girls were randomly chit chatting. Then they played games, and talked about so many things.

Then suddenly, Saanvi turned her attention to the window and there it was.

The magnet land. As she called it.

It was the same place where Saanvi went the night before she moved out of the slum.

It now had a different glow, that seemed to attract her now more than ever.

And if her eyes were not mistaken, she saw a soft glow illuminating the whole earth of the magnet land.

Just as her eyes were about to trace the source of the glow, Ishu patted her on the shoulder, which made her look away.

"What are you seeing outside so attentively, you are looking at it as it has hypnotised you." Did it? Maybe it almost did hypnotise her.

"Ishu, I think I saw a soft glow on the earth of that land. It was like something magical."

"Come on. Nothing like that happens. It must be the heat that has gotten into your head. Or maybe there are some kind of thing sprinkled in the glass of this window that makes things below glow." Ishu said.
