19 ~ Going to Patna

Ms. Saanvi's personality, how is she? Good or great or meh?

Saanvi pov.

Opening the lid of the big container, I saw a huge chilli sitting over the poha that was cooked in it.

I didn't eat chillis, so I generally discarded them, but today, I thought to have mercy on them by giving it generously to Ishu's stomach.

I am soo sweet and kind, haina?

And if you can't tell, this is mockery.

Putting poha in my plate, I scooped up some poha, and under it was the big red chilli. You couldn't see it, I am that well in hiding.

I turned to Ishu and said, "Ishu, open your mouth." She did and I fed her, slowly, as her expression changed, I shifted away from her. Only to spring away when she attempted to grab me, coughing as she had already devoured the whole thing.

She was a foodie, no doubt!

And I was in trouble, no doubt!

In hurry, I entered a room and tried to lock it before Ishu came but she was already in before I could close it.

I tried to run out, nuh uh. Ishu wasn't letting that happen.

She grabbed me by the shoulders, but oh boy was I quick.

In the flash of a second, I was on the other side of the room. But poor me had forgotten she could now close the door and not let me escape and then sooner or later, she will catch me.

She did lock the door up, but guess she was too angry at me for doing that, that she left the door and came to attack me. Not to offend you but, that was one dumb move, Ishu!

And I ever so swift, escaped the room after unlocking the door just before she could catch me.

She ran after me, and just like that, we ran around the whole house for four times atleast.

When we were, halfway through the fifth round, I plopped down on the sofa that was kept in the living room.

"Okay enough of running now, I am tired." She must be tired too, atleast I thought she was. But guess she wasn't, I mean she was but not much.

Closing my eyes, I took long and deep breaths in an attempt to calm myself down. The house wasn't small, running around it so many times made me want to sleep right then and there. But I had to go in a little while, half an hour, to be specific. I had already said to them that we would leave in an hour, 15 minutes already passed.

Ishu came very slow, her steps soundless as she made her way to me. But her rapid breaths gave her away. I knew she was near and taking a wild guess, when I thought she was really really close to me, I pulled her on the sofa and started to tickle her.

Got you, Ishu.

Or so I thought as she turned me over after a little struggle. When did she become so strong!

Anyway, just as I was accepting my defeat, Uncle and Ritu came as my saviour.

I mean I thought they did, but would your mother ever stop telling the bad habits you have to your friends if they mention the slightest mistake of yours?

No, right?

They just came and ignored, serving themselves and taking Ishu's side by ignoring us.

But still, with tears in my eyes - of course, because of the tickling - I tried to implore them to come to my rescue.

Nope, not a word. Not even when I said, "please."

One thing I soo wouldn't, even if I am about to die.

But I did, and they ignored.

(If you can't tell the drama here, what are you?)

Once she was satisfied and tired, she sat down and the ignorant people finally said something.

"We are leaving now, the taxi is waiting outside."

To create drama, I didn't say anything and just walked out of the door.

But not before hugging Aunty and Ishu.

Aaj pata nhi kyu bahut pyaar aa rha tha inn logo pe. Uss din ke tarah hi, jiss din mujhe woh magnet land mila tha.

Magnet land was, if you remember, the place where she flew the letter and sat for a while in the second chapter.

I saw a taxi outside and stuffed my luggage in it with the driver's help.

In less than two minutes, Uncle and Ritu came and we left after some bye-goodbyes.

We were s long way off, 1124.4 km, to be precise. And it would take around 16 hours and a half to reach Patna.

So I shut out the world as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

A little - not much little - time later.

Saanvi pov

Have I ever told you how much I like to travel?

Be it work or casual, going to other places and, when you get the time, roaming around, looking at the specialities of the place was such a good timepass for me whenever I had to travel to other places.

It is the next day now, it was already night by the time we arrived, so we booked rooms and called it a day.

I went for a morning walk just to see the surroundings, as I always did whenever I came to some other place.

I had come back and the people with whom I had come were still asleep. It's 9:45 AM.

𝘒𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘰𝘯 𝘬𝘢!

I went to their rooms, woke them up, told them to get dressed and went downstairs to eat. They came after some time and we left to meet the agent. As per our information, he was staying in some relatives' of his.

Was late morning when we went there and talked to him and finally sorted the things out.

It was decided that he would pay a huge fine to Uncle and the real property owner and the land would be given to him.

The money that we gave would be returned and with some understanding, we were relieved of the penalty that we were supposed to give because we had started to build something there.

(I know these types of cases probably go to the court or something, but that will just exceed the story for no reason at all so I left it.)

It was late evening when we came back.

Falling on the bed after a tiring day had to be one of the best feelings in the world. Even if it is the most uncomfortable bed you can ever lay on.

1 minute....... It had been just 1 minute since I lay on the bed, only to be interrupted by someone.

I feel like crying; first, handling that guy, seeing him only made me so angry that I wanted to kill him then and there.

Second, the traffic.

Third, the crowd. I couldn't care less about the crowd, but being squeezed between 30 strangers who have sweat on their back is soo frustrating!

𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘷𝘪, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭.

𝑹𝒂𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒗 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈......

𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘙𝘢𝘨𝘩𝘢𝘷 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘰𝘸?

It better be something important Raghav, I sacrificed my comfort for this.

"Hello." I started.

"Mam, I am sorry to call now. But this is important." I heard him say.

"Raghav, it's alright. I know it must be important if you called me now. Now, what's wrong?" I enquired, concerned.

"Mam, you remember the client who we were tring to chase since a long time?" He said.

"That Patna one?" I asked.

"Yes."

"What about them?"

"It's, it's actually. They, they." He sttagered.

"Calm down it's okay. What happened?" I tried to calm him down. Please don't give me a bad news now.

Please.

Pleaseeee, no bad news.....

Please, no bad news.

"They agreed." He said.

Please, no bad news.

Ple- Wait.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩!?!?

"Really?" I screamed.

"Really." Raghav said and I could feel his smile when he said that.

"Aaaaaaaaah. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yesssss." I celebrated.

"But wait, there is a problem."

I straightened myself immediately after hearing that and asked calmly, "What?"

--------

So, I thought that I would write much more in this chapter but it extended a little so I left it because I really didn't had the mind to write anymore.

1382 words is this chapter.

Okie byee. Ily always.
